9 months old
Aisling turns 9 months old today. She has nearly been out as long as she was in, adding an extra 2 weeks that she was overdue.
She is doing wonderfully too. She can wave, play peekaboo, crawl, play chase, use her pincer grasp and she just started cruising yesterday. She also likes to talk a lot. She mimics the tone of what we say to her and she sings along to music. She is also giving kisses, that occassionally include a lick. Daddy still makes her laugh hysterically. She really loves Dogs and laughs any time she sees one. She also love books and will turn the pages.
She has 5 teeth. 2 on the bottom, 1 top middle tooth and both top fangs. The other top middle tooth looks like it is about to break through any day now. We are no longer breastfeeding because of all the chompers. She was biting too much so I am pumping and supplementing with formula. In 3 months she will be ready for moo milk.
She still isn't a fan of the green foods. Her favorites are still apples, bananas, squash and sweet potato. She will eat a mixed vegetable baby food that has peas mixed in. It is orange though so I don't think she suspects that there are greens lurking in her food. She loves her Joe's O's cereal too. She gets so excited when she sees the box. We are working on adding more texture to her food, but she still likes it smooth.
She has been sleeping better (knock on wood) and usually sleeps from 7 till somewhere between 2-4. Lately it has been closer to 4 am. She is really hard to put to sleep now though. She just doesn't want to give up playing and settle down. She likes to stick her hand in my mouth when I am rocking her to sleep or pinch my neck. It isn't too comfy, but we are working on it.
She is a happy and healthy baby and just the joy of our life.
