22 months old, and 25 weeks pregnant

Well it has been a while since I checked in. I think it is safe to assume that once a month is going to be the best I can manage at the moment. Things at work are insanely busy, I still have morning sickness and Ais is keeping me busy on the home front. She is really turning into quite the little kid. She is singing lots and lots and getting the tune and rhythmn down for the most part, maybe not all the words though. Her vocabulary has grown lots too. She seems to learn dozens of words every day. She still is a JoJo Circus junky and loves Mickey Mouse and Friends too. Pluto and Minnie seem to be her favorites. She is getting good at counting and does it all the time. She counts consistantly up to 5 and has even gone as high as 8 a few times. Only 2 more months to her birthday if you can believe it.

As for Baby Alex, he is doing well too. We just had a midwife appointment today and everything checked out well. I had to have a Glucose test to check for GD. Man that syrupy stuff they make you drink is awful. Orange flavored too, blek. I had a pretty rough morning with the nausea today. I don't know if I will be getting over it this time around. It has been 20 weeks of straight morning sickness. It is really annoying. Thank goodness for the unisom or I don't know what I would do. It looks like I will be missing out on the relief of the 2nd trimester as I am about to start the 3rd and still feel icky a good chunk of the time. Ah well, at least I know it will be over sometime in May when Alex comes into this world.

Here are some pictures from the past month.

Here is Ais stealing water from my bottle. She loves her agua. She still won't drink anything else but milk and water, but I am not pushing it either. She loves having lots of sippys and water bottles around. Lately she has been really into cold water too and wants ice in her sippy.

Here she is looking like a big kid as she plays on the floor.

A recent trip to Disneyland and Ais rode on the choo choo train at DCA. She loves Choo-choos right now.

Brian and Ais on the Whinnie the Pooh ride. Ais insisted on taking Roo on the ride. She loves this ride and always wants to go on it again and again.

Ais is helping Benjaim with his Bippy. We babysat Benj who is 6 months old a little while ago. Ais just loved him and was so excited by everything he was doing and all his toys.

Another picture of Benjamin and Ais. It was a good trial run for little Miss Aisling. She had fun with him. She even woke up the next day asking where the baby was. Let's hope it is a good sign for Alex's arrival.

Here Ais and Brian are on the travel town train.

More Choo-Choo fun.
