We had a great Thanksgiving. We started our day at Aunt Joan's where we had a yummy turkey meal with all the trimmings, including the chocolate turkey from See's that almost didn't make it this year. Luckily Becca found them and saved the holiday. He He He.....

Aisling enjoyed her meal of squash and sweet potato melt-aways and then I taught her the joy of canned whipped cream. After lunch we headed to Aunt Lea's to visit with her and Uncle Chris who is recovering from a nasty fall down the stairs. He severed the tendons in both his knees and is in bed for a while. Aisling tried to cheer him up. She was a little shy and tired too, but we had a nice visit.

Then it was off to Aunt Angie's for more Turkey fun. We got another delicious meal and a wonderful visit with the family. Aisling had fun at the kids table and was dancing to Sean's beatbox rendition of club music. Aisling was the star of the day and there are nearly 2 million pictures to prove it.
After dinner we headed to Grammy's to spend the night and avoid a trafficy drive home. Aisling was so hyper by the time we got there. She was playing and playing and it was really hard to settle her down. She finally settled down and hogged the bed all night long.

In the morning we had a Carly dog break through. Carly and Aisling officially came face to face. Carly has always been scared of Aisling, but she gave her a good sniff and they are sort of friends now. Aisling laughed and squealed every time she saw Carly after that. Carly is still a bit tentative, but I am sure they will be friends in no time.
We have also moved on to stage 2 of the no-cry-sleep -solution. We are keeping our fingers crossed that one day she will sleep through the night. Brian and I are so tired.
