Things have been really busy as of late. Brian has another lecture tomorrow and we had our first booth at a bridal fair last Sunday,

so we were busy preparing for that as well. It went well too. A bit surreal as the other vendors were kind of odd and not too happy to have more competition, but the couples were great and I think we will have s few jobs booked from the fair.

Little Aisling is doing great now too. She is pulling up on everything and even lets go and can stand for a few seconds at a time. She always stands on her tiptoes and sometimes on the tops of her feet when she balls up her toes. It is kind of cute though. She looks like a little ballerina. She is really into all her toys now and can put the balls in her dinosaur and some shapes in her cookie jar. She has also managed to get a ducky and a link in there somehow too. She loves her tent and her little music stand up table and all her animals. She likes to imitate the sound the Polar bear makes and goes around growling all over the place. She has also learned to climb the stairs. And she can do it so quickly too.

Her sleeping is much better as well. Some nights she even makes it all the way through. She generally still wakes up once or twice though, but more towards the morning hours. The food thing has been an issue lately. She has decided that she wants nothing to do with baby food and screams and bats at the spoon the second it comes near her face. I have tried giving her some finger food twice now. Once with Aunt Joan at lunch on Saturday. She gagged and then proceeded to throw up an entire bottle of milk and a jar of bananas all over the table. Ewww.. What a mess. Last night I tried again and she choked so bad I had to rip her out of her high chair and turn her upside down and pat on her back, thank goodness for CPR classes. Of course she was throwing up all over both of us and the dining area in the mean time. It was pretty scary for me, but she was fine and back to normal in a minute or two. But I am not going any where near finger foods for a long while. Just Cheerios, which she has no problem with.
She has also started to sign to us. She was really good the other day when we went to Tony's and spent most the meal signing light.

It was dark in there and they have lots of white strands of lights. She was pretty excited. She also signs all done, but not really in any context. She is also clapping her hands and trying to mimic gestures in songs like little bunny foo foo, which is her current favorite. I have to sing it 30 times before she gets tired of it. She has started saying Ma Ma which is particularly exciting to me. And last, but not least, she is really into giving kisses, big old sloppy baby kisses. They are the best.
Ais met Whinnie the pooh for the first time on a recent Disneyland trip.

She loved him, not at all scary like mean old Santa.

She loves the parade too. We took her on a spinny ride at DCA and she wasn't too fond of that one, but she like the little caterpillar train.
Our little friend Fintan celebrated his first birthday on Sunday. We had to miss the party because we had the bridal fair. We were pretty sad to not be able to share in his day. I can't believe he is one already and that Ais isn't too far behind. Where is the time going?
