Easter Fun

So I know it is overdue, but here are some pictures from Easter. We had a really nice one this year. Aisling is getting the hang of the holiday thing. She was a great egg hunter and scarfed down a ton of ham and of course a fair amount of chocolate.

We started out at Aunt Lea and Uncle Chris' in Riverside where we had an egg hunt put on by Grandma B. Ais had fun finding all the eggs and opening them up. After a big and yummy meal it was off to Aunt Angie and Uncle Alex's for Easter V.02. There was another egg hunt and more yummy food. Ais ate her first reeses egg and loved it.

So here are the pictures.
Ais is hunting for eggs.

She was very good at finding them and putting them in her basket.

She inspects her haul.

Ais takes a moment to reflect on the meaning of Easter.

I may be in a pretty dress, but I still love to fly.

Aisling, Grammy and Uncle Allen play with her new Mickey ball.

Little Ms. Springtime plays dress up. Note the flower around her waist is actually a headband. I just thought she looked so funny and cute.

Here she is wearing her Mr. Potato head's glasses. She ate dinner in them the other night and likes to watch the mickey mouse clubhouse in them too. Oh to be two!!!!

30 Weeks

We hit the big 30 this past week. 10 weeks till Xander's due date, hopefully a week or two shorter... He is doing good. As of Tuesday he was head up and face out, the complete opposite of where he should be, but we still have time. I sure hope I don't have to go through all the breech stress that I went through with Ms. Aisling last time. He is kicking so hard now too, although he seems to be more of a stretcher. Sometimes I wonder if he is going to burst right out.

There is some really good news, at least for me. Work has been beyond stressful and busy, plus my nauseau has been getting worse again. So I asked my show to start my maternity leave 3 weeks earlier. So my new leave date is March 28th which means only 2 weeks and 2 days left till I go on leave. YAY!!!!!! I can't wait. It is getting hard to haul myslef in every day. Brian and I had to both work last Saturday, Ais came in too, and Brian had to work Sunday as well. Poor guy is sick now. At least in a couple weeks they can stop hounding both of us to work weekends.

Disneyland X2

First off, Ais is 23 months old!!! Can you believe it???? I can't believe in about a month I will have a 2 year old and in about 2 1/2 months I will have a 2 year old and a new born!!! Wow!!! How did this happen???

Anyway, we have been having quite the fun filled weekends over the last few weeks. First off we went to Disneyland with some of my old hockey friend's Roger and Cindy and their little one year old son Preston. It was really fun to see them, we hardly get to visit as they live down in Irvine. Cindy is pregnant with her second child too, another boy so we had fun comparing pregnancy notes and just catching up. Preston is such a cutie, but was a little overwhelmed by Disneyland. He didn't like all the crowds and basically shut off and slept through most of the day.

Last Saturday, Grammy Sue had a baby shower for Alexander and I. We had all the ladies from both sides of the family get together for some yummy food, games and nice company. I don't have any pictures from this, but I guarantee it was a good time. Xander got so many cute outfits too, and some nice handmade blankets from Grammy and Nana. While the ladies were having the shower, Brian, Grandpa and Uncle Allen took Aisling to the aquarium and Bubba Gump for lunch. Sounds like they had fun too.

On Sunday, we headed back to Disneyland, but this time it was an extra special treat as we had lunch at Club 33. It was so fun. Aisling was perfectly behaved and got some quality time with Mickey and Pluto. She also loved hanging out on the balcony, looking down on all the, peasants, umm I mean regular guests in the park. She has no idea how lucky she is to get to do some of the things she gets to do. The food was amazing, particularly the desserts, and it was so much fun and we all really enjoyed our time at Club 33 and in the park.

So here are all the pictures. There are more on the photobucket site too.

Mmmmmmm Mickey ear...

Mickey and Pluto come by for a visit. Aisling was so excited, she could hardly contain herself. After they left she was bouncing up and down in her highchair and smiling the biggest smile I have ever seen. She even talked about it the next day.

Pluto gets a kiss.
