Disneyland / Swimming

This last weekend we just had a blast. For my birthday we went to Disneyland with Fintan, Ingrid and Mark. We had a great time and the kids just did great. We went on a bunch of rides (Ais is officially scared of Haunted Mansion now, poor thing). We had lots of nummy treats and Finny and Ais had lots of time to be buddies.

Here is Fintan and Ais going for a ride. There were a few kisses and Finny even got down on one knee for a moment. We better watch these two.

Naptime during Jedi Academy. Aisling has a blankie now and she even is taking naps out in the wild with it. Yay. She also has some real shoes too. She is getting so big.

Here is Ais playing in a fountain while Finny was having a change.

Yesterday we went to Arianwen's Grandma and Grandpa's house and went swimming in their awesome pool.

Here are the girls lounging before taking a dip in the pool.

Ais and Arianwen playing with the umbrella. They are both little water babies and were in the pool for over an hour. Ais did get her first real dunk when she stumbled while standing on the big step, which gave us a heart attack, but we grabbed her quick and she handled it well and didn't fuss too much.

What a great weekend. I can't imagine a better one!!!

Ais just loves her bubbles. Try not to laugh while you watch this video, I dare you.

Daddy Day

First off. The Ducks won the Stanley Cup and Aisling was so excited. She even learned to chant Let's go Ducks. Much to the beaming approval of her Daddy.

Second, she is a full fledged walker and strutted her stuff at the Father's Day Brunch at the Aquarium last Sunday. She walked and walked and walked, and then had a full blown temper tantrum because we wouldn't let her walk, and then she walked and walked and walked some more. The poor little thing even got 2 blisters, one on each big toe. I think it is time to buy some real shoes for the little Miss.

Needless to say, we had a wonderful weekend with Dad's and Grandpa's alike.

First Steps

So this was from about a month ago, but I just figured out how to put video on this thing. And yes, my baby is on youtube.com. Weeeeee

Weekend Fun

This weekend Uncle Mike came for a visit. On Saturday Aisling went to Grandma Kettle's to visit her and play at the Fiesta (an Eastern Star thing). Uncle Mike was there as well as Grandma and Grandpa B. Apparantly they all had a great time and Aisling just walked and walked. She has officially turned the corner and is a full fledged walker now.

On Sunday we met Grandma and Grandpa B and Mike down at Disneyland. Aisling had a great time pointing at goofy in the parking structure.

She was a little nervous on small world. She doesn't like loud things and 1,000 dolls signing one song for 15 minutes can get to be a bit much for even the bravest tot.

She also likes to bonk Mike's head. It is something he taught her when she was itty bitty and she still remembers to do it to him. So cute.

After a day of fun at the park Aisling finished up by walking all the way to the car from the escalator in the parking structure. She loves to walk.

We had so much fun with Mike as usual. He can get her laughing so hard. There was a bubble party in the living room. Video soon to follow, it will explain it all.
