Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week. It was so great to share with both families. Here are some pics from Turkey Day. More on the photobucket site.

What better way to start the Thanksgiving holiday that with Ready Whip. Mike came into town the weekend before Thanksgiving and we had a little family Thanksgiving at Grandma B's. Here he is teaching Aisling the joys of whipped cream in a can.

Here is Ais and her Daddy. She loved the back yard and walking on the gravel. She also loved Sam's toys.

Ais, Mama, Daddy and Sam take a family picture. OK so Sam is just a guest star. It was one of the only ways to get Aisling to hold still for a picture.

Here is Aisling hording all the chocolate Turkeys. She took everyone's Turkey on the table and would try and hug them all over and over. Oh yes, the chocolate Turkeys from See's. Ais is finally starting to enjoy this Thirkettle tradition.

Here is Ais, Grammy and Daddy enjoying round 2 of the Thanksgiving day fun at Aunt Angies. More good company and yummy food!!!

Here is Ais trying on her new hat and demonstrating her favorite new thing...pointing at everything.

As for little bean #2. I felt him/her kick for the first time which was pretty exciting. I think Aisling is starting to notice that something is different too. When I was on the couch last night she walked up and started patting my belly. I think she thought I had a toy hidden in my shirt or something. I told her it was a baby and she just looked confused and tottled away. She will get it soon enough I guess. I have had a bit of a relapse with the morning sickness too this week. I can't wait for this part to be over. I am so tired of feeling sick and throwing up. Oh the joys of being pregnant.

1st Trimester Adios

So I know it has been a long time, but I have dealing with a rough bout of morning sickness over the past 7 weeks. There has been a lot of yucky moments and lots of riding the porcelain express. My new thing lately has been that half the time when I sneeze it makes me gag and throw up. Pleasant I know. Anyway, I have been feeling a little bit better lately and I think I am over the worst of it and hopefully in a couple weeks it will be totally gone. It has been really hard dealing with it and trying to tend to Aisling. Poor thing has seen more of her fair share of JoJo's Circus lately.

We are officially into the 2nd trimester now. We just came from an appointment with the midwives and we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It really is the best sound on earth in my opinion. Everything looks good and we are right on track.

Aisling is now 19 months old and doing amazing. She is talking so much now and is really into ChooChoo trains. She loves looking at her picture books and naming the pictures. She is still full of energy and is quite the funny little girl. She has the funniest fake laugh. So cute. Hopefully I will take some pictures soon.

Halloween Fun

We had a really fun Halloween yesterday. Aisling dressed up as Alice in Wonderland (costume made by Grammy, thank you Grammy) and we took her to work for the lot event. Aisling had a good time at work running around. She even got to meet Mickey and just had a great time with him. We did have a record breaking tantrum when we had to take her away from Mickey. She just loves him so much and mix that with being really tired, hungry and hot and it is a recipe for toddler disaster. In the evening we carved our pumpkin and then did some trick or treating at our neighbors house. We went to the Wilhelmi's in the evening to trick or treat with Arianwen. Benjamin and his parents were there too so we had cute babies everywhere. Aisling had a great time walking around the neighborhood. She would go up to a door look in the bowl of candy and then walk away. She was more interested in the walking around in the dark than in the trick or treating.

Here are some pictures of Aisling in Wonderland:
