Our little Miss Aisling has had a huge leap in development over the last few weeks. She is doing new things every day. It is just amazing all the things she has learned. She just started counting to 11, she loves the swings now, she can talk in sentences sometimes, She can sing several songs, has her own pillow, can climb onto the couch by herself, can buckle her own buckles on her high chair and just yesterday she learned to cross her fingers.

Here she is sitting in a big chair without a booster next to Nana. It was Nana's birthday party on Sunday and she showed off lots of her new skills.

Aisling says hi to her newest obsession R2D2. Aisling calls him Meep Meep. She loves him and asks to see him all the time. Brian is so proud. She likes to watch the Family Guy Star Wars special. The real Star Wars is still too intense for Ais, as Meep Meep is always in peril and it really upsets her.

She is really into the potty right now too. Yes she still likes to wear the potty seat as a hat or as a face mask as seen in this picture, but at least she is developing an interest and hopefully will start potty training soon.

She can also do her own buckles and gets so proud when she does it and yells "I did it!!!" Or at least her version of I did it. She likes to buckle her car seat buckle too and insists on having the buckles snapped on swings and shopping carts too. Luckily she hasn't learned to undo them yet.

Last night Aunt Joan taught her to cross her fingers too. Of course, it kind of looks like she is flashing gang signals half the time, but she can actually cross her index and middle finger sometimes. She also called Aunt Joan by name yesterday. She is getting so grown up.
Little Alexander is doing good too. He is kicking like crazy these days. I can feel him stretching and turning too. He is attacking my inner organs a lot more than Ais ever did. He also kicks up higher than she did at this point. Hopefully that means he is head down this time and I won't have to do all the breech exercises. I still have morning sickness too, but I have learned how to manage it for the most part. Now add the normal aches and pains that come with the 3rd trimester, which starts this Saturday, by the way, and we'll see how I do, but I am hanging in there for now. 3 months to go!!!!
