Picture Time

We have our camera back and now I am going to bombard you with pictures from the last month. I have even posted more on the photo bucket site too.

So Here we go!!!!

Aisling gets her first haircut, and coincidentally lollipop.

Here is Aisling playing with her best buddy Arianwen.

Aisling watching the Lawrence Welk show on Easter Eve.

Aisling clapping after each song. So silly, Lawrence Welk??????

Aisling at Grandpa B's for her first Egg hunt.

Aisling at Aunt Angies for her second Egg hunt, of the day.

The Disney Animtion Hamster who came to live with us for a weekend. We couldn't get Aisling in the picture because she kept trying to pick up the ball. Note to self. No hamsters for a long time.

Aisling can feed herself with a spoon.

Sort of..............

Aisling signing for "more" Spanish Rice. She loves spicy, exotic food. Last night was Chow Mein, the night before was Palak Panneer and Raj Dahl (Indian creamed spinach/cheese, Kidney beans and rice) and tonight who knows maybe Mexican. She will eat almost anything if it is really zesty. Who is this kid?

Aisling, Grammy and Grandpa waiting for the parade at Disneyland.

Aisling admires the Viking Dog (potato sausage) which she loved at the Scandinavian fair. Will I ever get to eat all of my own food again? Everyone at the fair loved her Viking horns (pigtails)

Aisling eats her Aebel Skiver.

Daddy steals a bite, oh wait I mean "shows her how to eat it".

Vikings are scary !What they're out of lefse, and it's about to rain let's go home.

1 year checkup

Ais went to the Dr today. Boy was it traumatic. She cried almost the entire time. Anytime someone came near her she full on screamed bloody murder. And she got shots on top of it all. Ugh it was awful.

But aside from the Post Tramatic Stress syndrome I now have from this morning. Aisling is very healthy and doing great. She now weighs 25 pounds and is 30 1/4 inches tall.

Easter and stuff

So we have misplaced our camera. Well actually we ended up with Grandpa Terry's camera, so I am guessing our camera may be floating around Aunt Angie's house somewhere. Anywho, the result of the camera incident is no pictures. So I apologize and hopefully we will find our camera soon and get back to normal.

Aisling had her first haircut last Friday. She wanted to look nice for Easter. She was turning into quite the little ragamuffin. We took her to this place called the yellow balloon. The lady who cut her hair was super nice and had ninja like haircutting skills. Before I knew what had happened she had cut Ais' hair. She had her first lollipop, which ended up getting her face all sticky and then the little cut hairs stuck to it. She didn't like the hairdryer and had a fit, but otherwise she did great. She got a certificate, a Polaroid picture, a clip of her hair for her baby book and of course a real yellow balloon.

Easter was great. We kind of missed it last year, since Aisling was only two weeks old. She had her first Easter egg hunt at my Mom's house. She was so good at finding all the little eggs, which she would then shake and put in her basket.

Then it was off to Aunt Angies, for more yummy food and another Easter hunt. Aisling got a Dora and princess ball which she had a blast rolling all over the floor. Aisling had a really great Easter, and she still doesn't know about chocolate. Oh the joys she has yet to discover.

Aisling got her first real toddler boo-boo too. On Wednesday night we had thrown all the sofa pillows on the floor for her to play on. She was having a great time until she tumbled off and landed face down on the edge of her tent. Her little cheek bruised and swelled up instantly and there was a little pin prick of blood. Poor baby. She is ok now though.

She also has a new trick of going ahhh after she drinks from her sippy cup. Daddy taught her that one. It is so cute.

First steps

Aisling took her first step on Thursday. On Friday she upgraded and took two steps. And today I think she managed 3. She is on the move now and will be running around in no time.

Birthday Girl

Well today is the day. Our little Miss is officially one year old. I can't even believe it. About this time last year, we had just met her and now she is 1, almost walking, talking all the time and just as cute and sweet as can be.

We celebrated her birthday this past weekend with family and friends. On Saturday we had a party with all of our family at Grammy Sue's house. It was so much fun and Ais was the life of the party and was a great birthday girl even though

she didn't have a nap. She was too excited to sleep in the car since it was the first time she got to ride facing forward.

She had a great time at the party playing with Sabrina, chasing Carly around and laughing hysterically as Carly ran for her life.

She ate an entire piece of cake too. Of course she ended up wearing a majority of it. The poor thing had cake in her eyelsahes and up her nose. She opened lots of presents and had a great time seeing the entire family.

On Sunday we had her baby friend's over for another party. It was so fun to have so many little ones all over the place. Tristan, Vuk, and Arianwen were all there to wish Ais a happy 01. Ais had another piece of cake, Arianwen looked like she really wanted a bite. It was so fun.

We are so lucky to have such great friends and family to share this special day with us. We are so proud and happy with our little Aisling. She has learned so much and it just keeps getting better all the time. I can't wait to see who she is going to grow up to be. I am so grateful that she came to us and that we get to be her Mommy and Daddy. I love you little boo,
